Could it have snowed? I thought, given that we are in for a cold period. Or maybe there's been a heavy frost, which makes it look like snow has fallen? Or maybe it's just a beautiful sunrise? Though that won't happen for another ninety minutes...
"It's Jesus' star!!"
And right enough, there was a star, shining oh so bright right next to the moon. Or maybe it was Venus? Or maybe not, but the wonder and surety in my 5-year old boys voice was really, really lovely.
