Summer Holiday

Funnily enough, everything after the Munro was a bit of a let down (boom boom).  No, it really wasn't, we had a great week back in Aberdfeldy, which needless to say involved a lot of Olympic watching - I mean that's what the holidays during an Olympic year are all about, right?!?

We also got to hang out with our soon-to-be-departed cousins one more time at Killicrankie and the Queen's View...

We were at the top of that yesterday!!!!

Oh, and again in Perth (for a final, final barbecue at the LambClan's house)...

We got back out on Loch Tay at Kenmore...

Tiger and Joey made it all the way to the island - you can't
see them but they are waving!!

...so did Lightning, minus a wetsuit.

Joey a bit warmer after his earlier swim

C...c....c...cold!

And explored the Pictish prehistoric fort of Caisteal Dubh (The Black Castle) at Grandtully...

Looking over the River Tay

Sadly the Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre interactive museum bit wasn't yet open, so we ended up going for a cuppa and cake in the town centre instead, after first enjoying...

...a breakfast pizza!!!

Loch Faskally

And finally... finally... on our last day there (and in the only day we had downpours, though they'd been threatening all week), we climbed the Birks...

A great and relaxing holiday.  A week of football and ballet camp coming up next...!
