End End of the Summer

One final hurrah for us though: our postponed trip to the seeside with the Westhillbillies yey!

There was a lot of good food, much great chat, a fair amount of dog cuddling, stroking, walking and talking, some meandering along the beaches as well as the Fife Coastal Path from Elie to Pittenweem, and a looong wait for the bus back home again.

There's always somebody not looking...

You can just about see the tiny tip of Lady Janet Anstruther's
Tower, which sits on the headland overlooking Ruby Bay just to
the east of Elie, which is where we started our walk.

been refurbished by the local community. Still too cold for me! 

I mean you can't not, despite the chill starting to creep in...

There was also some much required playing on the beach (swimming in the sea for those brave enough Tiger), except the two hours we went out for on Sunday morning seemed to be the coldest two hours of the summer! Or so we were reliably informed by the Westhillbillies...
