What the storm also gave us was an early finish to school yesterday and 24 hours of cancelled activities - which thanks to previously said heat, light and hot water was a very enjoyable hiatus in the madness that is late November / early December!

Though with all the candles needed on my Biscoff Billionaire Shortbread birthday cake, we probably would have been fine without electricity for a while at least... ;)
