First up, Deep Sea World, which was actually a huge disappointment for the amount of money we paid. Whether that's because our kids are on the older end of the spectrum, or because we were comparing it to the glitz and glam and 'newness' maybe of the Middle East or US attractions, or whether it was purely the cost for what we got, or maybe just the appalling service and lack of staff, I don't know... but I guess it's now ticked off so no need to go back! Though we did enjoy it.
| Did you know we are killing 100 million sharks each year and only 12 people a year are killed on average by a shark? |
And the trip over to Anstruther for an early dinner of fish and chips definitely did not disappoint.
| I mean it's the holidays! You've got to eat ice cream brrrr! |
We also joined forces with some of the LambClan to visit The Scottish Deer Centre near Cupar. While there we saw some of their 12 species of deer as well as many animals which are long lost from the Scottish countryside including wolves, lynx, the Scottish wildcat and a European brown bear. We even saw the wild Scottish haggis in its native environment - imagine that!
Fun days!
