I am also thankful for friends, food, urban families, and a warm, clean and dust-free home. The latter of which cannot be over-stated.
It's just gutting that after being out all afternoon and early evening and having a wonderful time that we still had to go home to the dirt, dust and mess of a day's labouring (albeit at least now also to a room with two new windows, even if getting said windows in meant cutting the plasterboard which now means the plasterer needs to come back and re-plaster that fix which means even more dust in the living room).
