The House That Jack Built #endofweek9

It's been an absolutely miserable week here.  Wet, wild, freezing.  After the room was opened up last week the taper came in this week to get three lots of plaster on the walls / seems, with the hope of sanding it all next week. But it's been really wet, the plaster hasn't been drying, the roof window has been leaking as the roofers were struggling to finish and it was too wet to put the second bit of glass over the top of the first bit.  We're also walking through a waterfall at our backdoor a hundred times a day as the gutters were taken off so the joiners could start cladding that section, but then it was too wet for them to finish, but the gutters couldn't be put back on, so all in all it's been a miserable week.  We did eventually get some electric heaters in to try and dry out the walls and ceiling (how much is that gonna add to our electricity bills! Though it did make the room nicer to be in) but a few days ago they seemed to blow a fuse so who really knows what's happening... not very much is what it feels like.
