Nothing is really changing on the outside at the moment - it's all about the inside - and yesterday our insulation 'wall' came down, revealing our new kitchen / dining space:

What that means in reality is that our kitchen is freezing as there is no back door, still only a concrete floor, a massive open space and no heating. So so far, it's been pretty miserable doing anything in here.
We also found some of the old lino that would have lined the floor before the Karndean floor was put down in our kitchen. I think the garish colour, pattern and style is actually making a come-back! Though not in this kitchen...
