The snow came last week, then it became kinda slushy, then it froze again, and has been frozen ever since... I mean it. is. f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g. Below freezing. -9C our car read this morning on the pool run. So cold that this morning we brought in Violetta's water bottle to defrost, put out another one filled with warmish water, and by 3pm when I went out to pick up the boys from school, it was shattered on the ground by the hutch filled and surrounded by ice. I can only assume the water froze during the day and expanded to the point of breaking glass.
Did I tell you it was cold?!? And we still do not have any heating in our kitchen. AND the painters are still here and they work with the windows and doors wide open.
Good bye Netherfield, hello Weatherspoons.
