It's been a pretty miserable month as spring-heading-into-summer goes. It might appear sunny quite often, and perhaps even warm on the odd occasion, but the next minute the clouds roll in, or the wind picks up, or you're caught in the heaviest of rain showers. I mean there has literally been no point hanging out washing for the last month, as the weather has been so changeable. Not that it's drying inside either.
We turned our heating off, och I don't know... early May sometime maybe? And the house is. just. miserable. Oodies are on, blankets are readily available on every sofa, hot water bottles are back warming up our beds... We even had to put Toots's school shoes on our en-suit floor yesterday (the only bit of underfloor heating we have in the house and the only heating that is never adjusted) to dry them out in time.
And the third hail shower in as many days, in June?!? What's with this weather?!?
Roll on summer...!
