So yesterday my dad received a phone call, a Facebook comment, a text message, a blog post and yes, even a real handwritten card, for Father's Day from his five kids currently flung around the world. Now that says a lot about the age we live in!
Just too bad the icing on my communications cake couldn't have been a Skype video conference call! THAT would have sent me to Telecomms Heaven; and inevitably of course, BACK again; with a lump in my throat and a thump on my back?!!
