We checked out the Classical side of Midland last night with a trip to the symphony, though as it was a
Jeans n' Classics 'Elton John Tribute' there was as much classic rock as classical music. Which was fun, and the new
Performing Arts Centre really is quite impressive. Honestly, have a look at the link. The other impression I was left with was the enormous queue for the bathroom, and not the Ladies either. While ours moved like a well oiled machine, the Gents was queued out the door and down the corridor, which you could probably say had something to do with the average age of the audience...
...which was a whole lot younger this afternoon when we hit the Circus. It was pretty similar, scrap that, exactly the same as
last year, except this year we ate no cotton candy, Tiger also had a chance to ride them horses:
and Lightning was around to enjoy the show too:
One does love kiddy things like the circus.
