(Another) Family Tree

I love Christmas tree shopping and love going out to pick a tree the first weekend in December, or as close to it as possible.  Since there was no time last weekend, and next weekend is too far away, we decided to nip to the forest straight after school today...

...and this was the one!

Since it was pretty much empty, the kind Forestry Commission workers allowed the kids to, well, do their job for them:

And since the kids were so enthusiastic about it all, I allowed them to do my job too!

We even managed to fit it in the car without the need to strap it on the roof.  I just wish I'd remembered to take gloves...
