I understand these things happen, but would this sign not have been more useful 30, 20, or even 10 miles further South, and NOT 45 minutes into my traffic jam???

A Long Drive Home
I tell you what was not good times? Getting stuck in traffic on Tuesday evening when I was almost, so close, making such good time home. It took me over an hour to travel about a mile around Stonehaven because the stupid A92 was closed as there had been an accident the day before and they were having to resurface the road, and part of the A90 Aberdeen bypass/Stonehaven Spur was closed for scheduled resurfacing works.
I understand these things happen, but would this sign not have been more useful 30, 20, or even 10 miles further South, and NOT 45 minutes into my traffic jam???
