Turns out the rest of the Clan thought Elie was a great idea too, so Monday we camped out on Elie Beach, and despite the incredibly damp start (read: torrential rain all morning - which didn't stop the three loons have a round of tennis) it turned into a scorcher of a day.
Though the kiddos (and Tio Freddow!) were also in the water swimming and paddle boarding, a jellyfish sting and capsized SUP let to quite a few tears and blood before any photos could actually be taken... But the fish and chips in Anstruther fixed all of that.
Then it was a good bye to all those that had to head home for work, the start of school and a few nights sans kiddos...
