Game Over

Date night tonight, and I lucked out (?!) with a trip to our local ice-hockey team's final game of the season.

After a few reads of Wikipedia we understood the rules a bit more than the Don's playing of NHL'93 on the Super Nintendo and our '05 trip to the Belfast Giants gave us.  Still, we were none the wiser as to why sometimes during a penalty the dude in the sin bin was replaced on the ice and sometimes he wasn't. Any ideas?

Anyway, we were a site more prepared in 2005, probably due to external temperatures, and this time ended up some what cold after sitting through three, twenty minute play periods and two twenty minute intermissions.  The chips and cheese dip did nothing to warm us up either.  Where's the Bovril and Pittodrie Pie when you need one?

And they lost, which was no surprise based on their league position.

Unlike the mighty Dons ... (someone insisted I stick that in ;)
