Watch n' Learn

Last January Toots started diving at the COM (which has produced an Olympic contender who also came 2nd in last winter's National Championships, and who we also regularly see practising - she's very impressive to watch!).  In March Tiger started some more swim lessons at the same time, and this month, finally, Lightning is turning 3 and can now officially start lessons too.

He is so thrilled to be finally getting in the pool he's seen his sisters in for years. And having no fear of water it's great for him to experience floatie-less swimming and, hopefully, realise he can't actually swim yet.

Meanwhile in the dive pool, Toots has perfected her 1m front line up, 1m back line up and 3m front line up.  That's diving forwards off the 1m and 3m boards, and diving backwards from the 1m.   Which doesn't sound like much, but when you see kids face, back and bottom-planting for two hours every week, you're really quite proud of your child doing it pain-free!

Not great pictures I grant you: my phone really is rubbish.  I must make the effort to take my camera to the pool one of these days....
